These mattresses are nothing like the one that came with your sofabed. Both are premium grade mattresses. Both will give you a good nights sleep. Nevertheless, they are different.
- Summit - This mattress is made from a lighter grade of foam. ( 1.8 Pounds of urethane per cubic foot. ) That does not mean that it is in any way inferior. It is not dense enough to protect a heavy sleeper form the bar. It will however give a lighter person, or two lighter persons, a more cushioned sleep. If lightweight people are going to sleep on this bed, you should order it.
There is no such thing here as exact, but one or two 150 pound sleepers will find it excellent. For folks over 200 pounds, you will probably not be happy.
- Pinnacle - This mattress is made using a much denser foam. ( 2.5 Pounds of urethane per cubic foot. ) It is still quite comfortable to sleep on. It will accommodate much heavier sleepers. How much heavier? That is also impossible to say. Just the same it is the best mattress made for a sofabed. The Pinnacle will offer the maximum support available anywhere.
