You will receive the mattress in a compressed roll. The package will be remarkably smaller than you would expect.

To unpack, just cut the plastic film and the tape which holds it in place. The only thing to be careful about is to not cut the mattress itself. It's all pretty easy, but for safeties sake, ONLY use a scissors to cut the packaging, NOT A KNIFE.  Unroll the mattress onto the open sofa bed mechanism, and wait about a half hour for it to fully relax before making and closing the bed.

There is room for sheets and a normal blanket to be folded into the mechanism as well as the mattress.
